The Tea Lady, Judy Elliott will be visiting us again to host this fun and eventful crop. Judy is a scrap booker and has turned her passion and love of tea into a unique and trendy business. Judy has, graciously accepted our invite to join us at our crop and instruct us on tea etiquette. Don't miss this fun and special night of "girl time" for our girl's tea party. This event is a special event for Mother and Daughters as well. Judy will be serving tea and specialty treats. Spots will be limited for this event. The cost is $16.00 per person. RSVP by 2/20 to reserve your spot. Don't forget to bring your cameras and if you have a special hat or attire, please wear it and enjoy evening of fun! | | WE'RE THREE YEARS OLD! It is hard to believe, we are three years old in February. Please mark your calendars and join us for our birthday celebration. To thank you, we're having a HUGE inventory blow out sale, birthday cake and raffles. Plan to stop by and visit us on February 7th. Come and check out our prices and dies). | | BEACON WEEKEND - MARCH 2009 FULL Our popular scrap booking ultimate girls get away weekend is full. We will be opening registration for the fall 2009 weekend at the end of March. Please watch our website or contact the store for registration information at that time. The fall dates are October 22, 23, 24 and 25, 2009. | | CARD SWAP CLUB January Card Theme is Valentine's Day Cards due January 31 for Pickup February 5th. February Card Theme is Anniversary, Due February 24th for pick up March 3rd. Rules for the swap 1. You need to make the exact same card 6 times. You will receive yourcard back along with 5 other different cards. 2. Size of the cards should be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. (This is an A4 sizecard) No need to supply envelopes unless you want to. 3. Bazzill cardstock is best; you can use heavy cardstock also if you wish. 4. Please embellish each card front at least twice. DO NOT use stickers as embellishments. Patterned paper does not count as an embellishment. Also all supplies need to be acid free. 5. Please DO NOT use your own handwriting on the cards. Computer, stamps, etc. are all OK for the words. 6. There is no need to fill the inside of the card unless you want to. Blanks are OK. 7. Please bring your completed cards to SSS in a ziploc bag with your name written on it. 8. Envelopes do not need to be included. | | SCRAP YARD SALE Do you want to sell your use unwanted scrap booking and stamping supplies? If this sounds of interest to you, rent a table for $5.00 and complete a Yard Sale Agreement form. You need to bring your yard sale items already priced with your vendor ID on each item. We will provide you with your vendor ID. Bring the items in the week prior to the sale date. The yard sale will be held on Saturday, March 7th. You do not need to stay for the sale. At the end of the yard sale, we will tally up your sales and issue you a store credit to Scrappin' Soul Sisters. This is a great opportunity to clean out the old and bring home the new. | | FREQUENT BUYER PURCHASE PROGRAM When you purchase non-sale items you receive a $5.00 punch on your frequent purchase card for every $5.00 you spend. Once full, on your next visit, you will receive $20.00 off your next visit. Write your name, email address and phone number on the back of the card. You will automatically be entered into our next Frequent Buyer Card Appreciation Night for special sales, prizes and appreciation for shopping with us. Frequent buyer cards are not punched on Quickutz products, sale items, classes, crops or gift certificate purchases. | | JULIE'S IMPRINTING SERVICES If you're looking for unique and personalized gift ideas, check out Julie Biehl's website at www.juliesimprinting.com. If you're unable to attend the class or crop you will receive credit for a future class or crop as long as you cancel within a 48-hour period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if less than two people are signed up to attend. Class participants will receive 10% off purchases the day/night of their class. Please Note: Our classroom fee also includes the use of the Cricut Expression die cutting system. We will provide the machine, blades and cartridges. RANGER INK CLASSES Join Instructor Lynne Forsythe, a Ranger University Certified Instructor as she walks you through a series of classes for various tips & techniques. We still have spots available in the following classes, Ink and Distressing, Alcohol Inks and All the Left Overs. The classes are two hours and start at 10:30 A.M - 12:30 P.M. Each class will be $25.00 and pre-registration is required. Come and enjoy all the different mediums and techniques of inks. Next class is January 17th.
