SHOP HOP - New Hampshire Scrapbooking Stores

Scrappin' Soul Sisters is pleased to announce the third annual Shop Hop with New Hampshire Independent Scrapbooking Stores. During the month of April, Independent Scrapbooking stores are teaming up to offer you a shopping extravaganza! Passports will be available for sale at Wholly Scrap!, Scrapbook Island, Scrappin' Soul Sisters, Stamped Designs, Generations of Memories, NH Scrapbook Cabin, Stamping Memories, Talk, Paper, Scissors, Wingdoodle, Frugal Scrapper, and The Blackberry Patch to purchase for $5.00 each. What does the passport get you? It will provide you with special sales at each of these participating stores as well as a chance to win gift certificates to each of the stores once your passport has been stamped and completed at each store visited. It's a shopping adventure you don't want to miss! Passports will be on sale at these locations starting at the end of February.

SCRAP YARD SALE

Attention Sellers & Shoppers: Saturday March 6th is our yard sale. Do you want to sell your use unwanted scrap booking and stamping supplies? If this sounds of interest to you, rent a table for $5.00 and complete a Yard Sale Agreement form. You need to bring your yard sale items already priced with your vendor ID on each item. We will provide you with your vendor ID. Bring the items in the week prior to the sale date. At the end of the yard sale, we will tally up your sales and issue you a store credit to Scrappin' Soul Sisters. This is a great opportunity to clean out the old and bring home the new!

QUICKUTZ CLUB 2010!

Do you love quickutz? Join President Patti as she instructs you monthly as you make a unique and fun project using one of the most popular dies on the market. The club is a six-month commitment and you receive many perks for being a club member. The cost of membership is $66.00 ($11.00 per month) and that includes your monthly project kit, free crop after the meeting has ended, a free 2 x 2 club die each month, 30% off all single and double shape dies, 20% off all alphabets and 15% off 4 x 4 and border dies. A free Friday night crop certificate ($12.00 value). You will also get a sneak peak at the new releases, which come out monthly. Meetings are scheduled the last Saturday Of the month 10:30AM - 12:30 PM. Meeting dates are: March 13, March 27, April 17, May 29, June 26 and July 31. If you're unable to make a meeting, the kit will be held for you to complete on your own time. (It's also President Patti's Birthday, stop in and wish her a happy day!)

DREAM STREET PAPER SALE!

We love Dream Street Papers; unfortunately they are going out of business. We were fortunate to purchase some of their lines of paper at a very reasonable cost, and pass the savings onto you. Between Monday March 8th and Saturday March 13th stop in and purchase these papers for $.40 a sheet. Most are double sided and heavy cardstock that will give you many options for your creativity. Don't miss out; when they are gone...they are gone!

RUBBER STAMP SPECIAL PROMOTION

Do you love to stamp? Make cards; incorporate stamping on your scrapbook pages? Here is your change to be the "buyer". What does that mean? You can peruse our catalogs; purchase the stamps you want, we will order them for you. Prepayment is required. This is a unique way to collect all the new stamps that are coming out from the manufacturers and pick the ones YOU want for your projects. Stop in the week of March 8th through Saturday March 13th. Leave yourself plenty of time as we have many catalogs for you to look through.

SCRAPPIN' SOUL SISTER'S SORRORITY - New Date - Starting in April!

Join the Alpha Beta Scrapper's Society of Soul Sisters. We will meet once a month on the last Thursday of each month starting in April and going through September. Instructor's Deb, Patti and Gayleen will lead the Sorority where you will make a special project each month. This is a six-month commitment and at the start of the Sorority, as part of your membership fee, you will receive a T-Shirt with our name for wearing to club meetings. The monthly cost is $25.00 per month (payable in two installments.) The first project is currently under way. At the start of the club a project list will be provided. Note: only a few spots remain!

KIT OF THE MONTH CLUB

The kit of the month club is an on going club where enrollment is open for new members. In each of our kits you will receive TONS of product and supplies to create a multitude of scrapbooking pages. A design sheet instructing you on the versatility of all you can do to create unique pages. You can sign up as a 3-month club member or a 6-month club member. The 3-month club rate is $25.00 per month and the 6-month club rate is $20.00 per month. As a club member you will also be entitled to other club benefits.

CUSTOMER APPRECIATION NIGHT CELEBRATION

This is our way of saying thanks, to you, for supporting Scrappin' Soul Sisters. We realize you have many options for supplying your paper-crafting hobby. We strive to provide the best in customer service and always welcome you with a warm greeting and smile. If you have completed a customer reward card, check your email box, as you will receive a special invite for the evening of April 1st. If you have a customer appreciation card that is almost full, stop in before the first of April and complete your punch card. We will have special sales for you from 5:00 - 7:30 PM along with wine, appetizers and a celebration of thanks!

FREQUENT BUYER PURCHASE PROGRAM

When you purchase non-sale items you receive a $5.00 punch on your frequent purchase card for every $5.00 you spend. Once full, on your next visit, you will receive $20.00 off your next visit. Write your name, email address and phone number on the back of the card. You will automatically be entered into our next Frequent Buyer Card Appreciation Night for special sales, prizes and appreciation for shopping with us.

Frequent buyer cards are not punched on Quickutz products, sale items, classes, crops or gift certificate purchases.

INVITATIONS FOR SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS

Are you looking for a unique way to announce your special event? Schedule an appointment with Jackie and she will share with you some of the creations that Brides to Be and others have created for their special day. This is a cost effective way to create your own invitations while having fun with your bridesmaids and friends while choosing the colors of cardstock embellishments that work with your color scheme.

BEACON WEEKEND - Fall, 2010

We are opening registration for our fall 2010 ultimate girl get away weekend! We needed to move the date from October to the first weekend in November due to a schedule conflict for Deb. The dates are November 4, 5, 6 and 7th. Check our website towards the end of March for the registration form and information or email Deb at Creativebow@aol.com for a copy of the form.

TEACHER'S and EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL

Have you wanted to create a unique and special bulletin board for your students or classroom? We have the Accu-Cut Die Cutting Machine that will assist with creating unique dies and letters. Purchase your paper and supplies from us and receive 10% off purchases with proof of school ID. You will be able to use the Accu Cut machine for free.

FUNDRAISER

Are you a non-profit group or club? Need a new idea for fundraising? How about a scrapbooking fundraiser? We have two large classrooms, die cutting machines for your use as well as tools and plenty of space to spreadout. You can promote your fundraiser and crop for your organization. We will provide you with a percentage of the sales for your organization. Contact Deb for more information.


CARD SWAP CLUB

March Card Theme is Masculine Birthday Cards, Due March 31st for pick up April 7th.

April Card Theme is "Spring Has Sprung"

Rules for the swap

1. You need to make the exact same card 6 times. You will receive your

card back along with 5 other different cards.

2. Size of the cards should be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. (This is an A2 size

card) No need to supply envelopes unless you want to.

3. Bazzill cardstock is best; you can use heavy cardstock also if you wish.

4. Please embellish each card front at least twice. DO NOT use stickers as embellishments. Patterned paper does not count as an embellishment. Also all supplies need to be acid free.

5. Please DO NOT use your own handwriting on the cards. Computer, stamps, etc. are all OK for the words.

6. There is no need to fill the inside of the card unless you want to.

Blanks are OK.

7. Please bring your completed cards to SSS in a ziploc bag with your name written on it.

8. Envelopes do not need to be included.

The Card Swap Club is a 6 month committment. Please call to register and leave your contact information. Club members need to know in advance how many cards to make. Thank You

CROPS, CLUBS & CLASSES

Please note our policy for classes and crops: Payment is due at time of registration. If you're unable to attend the class or crop you will receive credit for a future class or crop as long as you cancel within a 48-hour period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if less than two people are signed up to attend.

Class participants will receive 10% off purchases the day/night of their class.

Friday Night Crop - Til' You Drop!

No workspace at home? Enjoy scrapbooking with a friend or meet new scrapbookers? Our two classrooms are complete with punches, tools, idea books and die cutting machines. Our classrooms are well-lit and comfortable adjustable chairs. Bring your project and supplies and get caught up on your pages. Please call ahead to reserve your seat.

TEA TIME CROP (Rescheduled Date)

Join us on Friday, April 30th at 6:00 PM for a unique and special crop. The Tea Lady, Judy Elliott will be visiting us again to host this fun and eventful crop. Judy is a scrap booker and has turned her passion and love of tea into a unique and trendy business. Judy has, graciously accepted our invite to join us at our crop and instruct us on tea etiquette. Don't miss this fun and special night of "girl time" for our girl's tea party. This event is a special event for Mother and Daughters as well. Judy will be serving tea and specialty treats. Spots will be limited for this event. The cost is $16.00 per person. RSVP by 3/24 to reserve your spot. Don't forget to bring your cameras and if you have a special hat or attire, please wear it and enjoy evening of fun!

Please Note: Our classroom fee also includes the use of the Cricut Expression die cutting system. We will provide the machine, blades and cartridges. We request that you bring or purchase your own mat for your use.

White Work Parchment Card/Technique ClassWhitework101

Saturday March 27th 11:00 - 1:00 PM $25.00

A technique that is both beautiful and elegant. You will be provided with the tools needed to create and design your own layout that can be used on a card or scrapbook page. The class will develop into a series of classes that will continue to teach you new techniques that are versatile for your paper crafting projects. With the registration fee you will be provided with the tools, parchment paper and mat. These will be yours at the end of class.



These card are made by Carole Walters using the ancient art of parchment craft currently called Pergamano. Carole will be giving an example of how she does this technique during her White Work Technique Class. We will be offerering classes in this technique in the near future. Dates to be determined.

Do you need more room to work? When the schedule is open, crop for $1.00 an hour. Call to check for availability. Please, no children under the age of twelve.

Private Gatherings
