NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY - CROP-A LOT-CELEBRATION

Saturday, May 1st is a day to honor all scrapbookers. Reserve your spot in our crop room for the

14 hour crop till you drop celebration. Or better yet, join us on Friday night for our special Tea

Time Crop with Judy Elliott the Tea Lady. Friday night crop spot is $16.00 and includes dinner

and special tea time etiquette all while you scrapbook. On Saturday morning starting at 8:00 AM

the doors will open and you can crop all day and into the evening. The event will end at 10:00

PM. The cost for Saturday is $10.00, however if you purchase $25.00 in scrapbooking supplies

from the store, your crop is free! No food will be provided, however we have many area

restaurants that are close by or deliver.

No time to crop? That is alright, the celebration is still yours to enjoy. Stop by the store to be

entered into a raffle at the end of the day. The gift basket will be packed with fun and exciting

items for you to enjoy. For every $10 that you spend you will receive a ticket to be entered into

the basket. The store will also be hosting special sales that day to assist you with stocking up on

needed supplies.

The club is a six-month commitment and you receive many perks for being a club member. SCRAPPIN' SOUL SISTER'S SORRORITY - New Date - Starting in April!

Join the Alpha Beta Scrapper's Society of Soul Sisters. We will meet once a month on the last Thursday of each month starting in April and going through September. Instructor's Deb, Patti and Gayleen will lead the Sorority where you will make a special project each month. This is a six-month commitment and at the start of the Sorority, as part of your membership fee, you will receive a T-Shirt with our name for wearing to club meetings. The monthly cost is $25.00 per month (payable in two installments.) The first project is currently under way. At the start of the club a project list will be provided. Note: only a few spots remain!

April Card Theme is Spring has Sprung!, Due April 27th for pick up May 4.

May Card Theme is Graduation Cards due on May 25th for pick up on June 1st.

June Card Theme is Summertime.

July Card Theme is Thank You.

August Card Theme is Fall Is In The Air.

September Card Theme is Halloween.

Rules for the swap:

1. You need to make the exact same card 8 times. You will receive your

card back along with 7 other different cards.

2. Size of the cards should be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. (This is an A4 size

card) No need to supply envelopes unless you want to.

3. Bazzill cardstock is best; you can use heavy cardstock also if you wish.

4. Please embellish each card front at least twice. DO NOT use stickers as embellishments. Patterned paper does not count as an embellishment. Also all supplies need to be acid free.

5. Please DO NOT use your own handwriting on the cards. Computer, stamps, etc. are all OK for the words.

6. There is no need to fill the inside of the card unless you want to.

Blanks are OK.

7. Please bring your completed cards to SSS in a ziploc bag with your name written on it.

This class was so popular in March, Carole has agreed to offer a second class incorporating the basic techniques and adding a little more intermediate technique for those that have taken the first class. Space is limited to the first six registrants. This class will demonstrate techniques that are both beautiful and elegant. You will be provided with the tools needed to create and design your own layout that can be used on a card or scrapbook page. The class will develop into a series of classes that will continue to teach you new techniques that are versatile for your paper crafting projects.

If this sounds of interest to you, rent a table for $5.00 and complete a Yard Sale Agreement form. You need to bring your yard sale items already priced with your vendor ID on each item. We will provide you with your vendor ID. Bring the items in the week prior to the sale date. At the end of the yard sale, we will tally up your sales and issue you a store credit to Scrappin' Soul Sisters. This is a great opportunity to clean out the old and bring home the new!

We love Dream Street Papers; unfortunately they are going out of business. We were fortunate to purchase some of their lines of paper at a very reasonable cost, and pass the savings onto you. Between Monday March 8^th and Saturday March 13^th stop in and purchase these papers for $.40 a sheet. Most are double sided and heavy cardstock that will give you many options for your creativity. Don't miss out; when they are gone...they are gone!

A technique that is both beautiful and elegant. You will be provided with the tools needed to create and design your own layout that can be used on a card or scrapbook page. The class will develop into a series of classes that will continue to teach you new techniques that are versatile for your paper crafting projects. With the registration fee you will be provided with the tools, parchment paper and mat. These will be yours at the end of class.

These card are made by Carole Walters using the ancient art of parchment craft currently called Pergamano. Carole will be giving an example of how she does this technique during her White Work Technique Class. We will be offerering classes in this technique in the near future. Dates to be determined.

The kit of the month club is an on going club where enrollment is open for new members. In each of our kits you will receive TONS of product and supplies to create a multitude of scrapbooking pages. A design sheet instructing you on the versatility of all you can do to create unique pages. You can sign up as a 3-month club member or a 6-month club member. The 3-month club rate is $25.00 per month and the 6-month club rate is $20.00 per month. As a club member you will also be entitled to other club benefits.

KIDS CROP DURING SCHOOL VACATION

Calling all kids (ages 9 - 14), please join us on Wednesday and Thursday February 24 and 25^th from 1:00 - 4:00 PM for a kid's crop. Bring your photos and scrapbooking supplies and crop with your friends during school vacation. The fee is $5.00 per day, you can sign up for one day or both days.

BEACON WEEKEND - MARCH 2009 - FULL

Join us on Friday, February 26^th at 6:00 PM for a unique and special crop. The Tea Lady, Judy Elliott will be visiting us again to host this fun and eventful crop. Judy is a scrap booker and has turned her passion and love of tea into a unique and trendy business. Judy has, graciously accepted our invite to join us at our crop and instruct us on tea etiquette. Don't miss this fun and special night of "girl time" for our girl's tea party. This event is a special event for Mother and Daughters as well. Judy will be serving tea and specialty treats. Spots will be limited for this event. The cost is $16.00 per person. RSVP by 2/20 to reserve your spot. SCRAPPIN' SOUL SISTER'S SORORITY

Join the Alpha Beta Scrapper's Society of Soul Sisters. We will meet once a month on the last Thursday of each month starting in March and going through August. Instructor's Deb and Gayleen will lead the Sorority where you will make a special project each month. This is a six-month commitment and at the start of the Sorority you will receive a T-Shirt with our name for wearing to club meetings. The monthly cost is $25.00 per month (payable in two installments.) The first project is currently under way. At the start of the club a project list will be provided.

SCRAP YARD SALE

Do you want to sell your used unwanted scrap booking and stamping supplies? If this sounds of interest to you, rent a table for $5.00 and complete a Yard Sale Agreement form. You need to bring your yard sale items already priced with your vendor ID on each item. We will provide you with your vendor ID. Bring the items in the week prior to the sale date. The yard sale will be held on Saturday, March 6^th. You do not need to stay for the sale. At the end of the yard sale, we will tally up your sales and issue you a store credit to Scrappin' Soul Sisters. This is a great opportunity to clean out the old and bring home the new.

To sign up for a class or crop, pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Please call us at (603) 717-7136 to register or stop in the store to pre-pay. In consideration of others, children must not be brought to classes or crops. Children over the age of twelve, who are paying patrons, are allowed in class. Scrappin' Soul Sisters has the right to cancel a class if less than two people are scheduled to attend.

Please call us forty-eight hours prior to the class date to cancel. Your class fee will be moved to your next scheduled class or crop. Starting at 9:00 AM on Friday, November 27th until Midnight you can set up and scrapbook for $10.00. Spend a minimum of $25 on scrapbooking supplies and items and your scrapbook room fee is waived! We will serve a light dinner at 6:00 PM. (Lunch and Breakfast are on your own.) If you would like to scrapbook on Saturday the store will re-open at 10:00 AM and the Crop will go until 4:00 PM for no fee. Copic Marker's Update:

The first shipment of Copic markers has arrived at the store. We are pleased to have Lynne instruct a class on the benefits and uses of the Copic Markers. The class is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18th from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. The cost is $30.00 and will include 2 markers, project ideas, demonstrations and much more. A special discount will also be provided to class registrants on the purchase of additional Copic Markers on the night of the class. Benefits of the COPIC marker system are performance, creativity and design flexibility they provide for your crafting projects. The markers are durable and come in 214 colors and are refillable with durable polyester nibs that are easily interchangeable and available in nine different weights and styles. The solid polypro pane body is both smooth and comfortable for a perfect controllable grip and the body style profile is roll resistant on working surfaces. Watch for upcoming information on when they arrive and for demonstration dates. Also, we will be adding new colors to the Spica Glitter Micro-glass flake markers that we carry.

Kit-Of-The-Month Club - Coming in September!

We're pleased to announce a new club, starting this September the Kit of the month club will be ready for kit pick up on September 8th. However, registration for the kit of the month will start now. Be one of the first club members to enroll with a three or six month commitment. Here's what you receive. In each of our kits you will receive TONS of product and supplies to create a multitude of scrapbooking pages. A design sheet instructing you on the versatility of all you can do to create unique pages. You can sign up as a 3-month club member or a 6- month club member. The 3-month club rate is $25.00 and the 6-month club rate is $20.00. As a club member you will also be entitled to other club benefits.

Card Swap Club
August Card Theme is Sympathy Due August 25th for pick up September 1st.

Swap Rules:
1. You need to make the exact same card 6 times. You will receive your
card back along with 5 other different cards.
2. Size of the cards should be 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. (This is an A4 size
card) No need to supply envelopes unless you want to.
3. Bazzill cardstock is best; you can use heavy cardstock also if you wish.
4. Please embellish each card front at least twice. DO NOT use stickers as embellishments. Patterned paper does not count as an embellishment. Also all supplies need to be acid free.
5. Please DO NOT use your own handwriting on the cards. Computer, stamps, etc. are all OK for the words.
6. There is no need to fill the inside of the card unless you want to.
Blanks are OK.
7. Please bring your completed cards to SSS in a ziploc bag with your name written on it.
8. Envelopes do not need to be included.

When you purchase non-sale items you receive a $5.00 punch on your frequent purchase card for every $5.00 you spend. Once full, on your next visit, you will receive $20.00 off your next visit. You will automatically be entered into our next Frequent Buyer Card Appreciation Night for special sales, prizes and appreciation for shopping with us.

Frequent buyer cards are not punched on Quickutz products, sale items, classes, crops or gift certificate purchases.

CLASSES & CROPS

To sign up for a class or crop, pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Please call us at (603) 717-7136 to register or stop in the store to pre-pay. In consideration of others, children must not be brought to classes or crops. Children over the age of twelve, who are paying patrons, are allowed in class. Scrappin' Soul Sisters has the right to cancel a class if less than two people are scheduled to attend.

Please call us forty-eight hours prior to the class date to cancel. Your class fee will be moved to your next scheduled class or crop. If your notification is less than forty-eight hours, you will lose your fee. If you miss your class or crop for any reason, you will loose your class fee. Refunds will only be given if a class or crop is cancelled by Scrappin' Soul Sisters. By signing up for a class, you are agreeing with the above class and crop policies.

Please bring to every class adhesive, scissors, 12-inch paper trimmer, black pen, pencil, and ruler.
